Do you feel heavy
I want to hold you
with my hands
cut away your unease with a winter wind like a blade
and let your good dreams stay the night
Are you tired
I want you to cry all you need, and sleep in peace
between my hands
When the night has soaked the hem of an old dream
when a bowl of congee steams the morning light soft
I hope my hands
are not only the glow of lamps in the south
but can also be a fire close at hand
lighting your hands
and letting them light me
